In
view of the overwhelming response from the guardians that they have shown towards
the technical education, Shree Krishna Educational Society, the Management of
ITM, Gorakhpur is introducing 'INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY' to encourage the
girls of Purvanchal in the field of technical and management education and groom
them to make a global career. The institute shall be approved by AICTE & affiliated
to U.P. Technical University, Luck now. The Management and the Governing Council
will remain same as is in Institute of Technology and Management.
In July
2008, the institute will commence with 4-years B.Tech programme which ensures
thorough grounding of students in fundamental concepts in various fields of science
and Technology and concurrently develop the requisite pragmatism to test and apply
these knowledge in real life situations. Reputed faculties with national and international
exposure will create an effective teaching learning process ensuring right academia
industry interface that Institute of Technology will become proud of it.

Class room learning
methodology will be participative and interactive involving lectures along with
seminars and inputs from distinguished speakers from the academia and industry,
exercises, live projects, individual/group presentations etc. Students will be
encouraged to take initiative in search of knowledge, think about the emerging
technologies outside the textbooks.

The
library of the institute is computerised and well stocked which provides latest
and up to date reference materials, reports, books, thesauri, academic journals
and audio-visual material for the students. Reprographic facility has been provided
in the library.
Computer Centre:
The
state-of art computer center is equipped with 60 core 2 duo processor PC's. It
is Wi-Fi enabled educational campus enabling the student's access to 2 mbps leased
line broad band internet round the clock.
Lecture
Theaters:
Institute of Technology has an excellent infrastructure
and modern facilities, which assists in conducting the various academic programmes.
Stepped lecture theaters are conventional one however special efforts have been
made to ensure that the classes are spacious, well lit and echo-proof to facilitate
the teaching learning process.
Language Lab:
Well
equipped language lab worth Rs. 40 lacs is established in the institute to improve
communication skill of the students and make them fluent in expressing' their
degree of merit.
Seminar Room & Conference Hall:
State-of-art air-conditioned seminar room with a seating capacity of 200 students
is equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment. Students for organizing seminars,
conferences, debates ets Conference hall is also air-conditioned with a seating
capacity of 50 members.
