As per directive of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India that came in the wake of a detailed report submitted by the R.K. Raghavan Committee, Ragging, in any form, in the institute premises including hostels is strictly prohibited. The institute has taken every precaution to comprehensively prevent ragging in the campus. Any student found indulging in any activity and against whom there is prima facie evidence will be suspended from the institute immediately.
Each of the students of the ITW are required to submit an undertaking in the prescribed format which is mandatory, to abstain from ragging in any form and other anti-social activities. Violation of this will attract expulsion of the quilty from the institute; lodging a FIR with police and handing over shall not:
Violate the status, dignity and honour of girl students.

Violate the status, dignity and honour of SC and ST students.
Expose students to ridicule and contempt thereby affect their self esteem.
Entail verbal abuse and aggression indecent gestures and obscene behavior.
The Director/the Anti ragging committee shall take immediate action on any information of the occurrence of ragging. The following are the important numbers for contact:
